So, the last two days have seen me volunteer to take on more work in my life. Yeah, I'm a masochist that way. The first is to run SIPA's Beltane ritual in two weeks. It's really not that big a deal, we Cast Circle, try not to kill ourselves while dancing the Pole, Close Circle, and eat. I just need to come up with something to put my own stamp on the affair.
The other thing was that this morning I allowed myself to be voted in as the new Chair of the Methamphetamine and Substance Abuse Action Team. It's a subset of the Jackson County Healthy Communities Coalition. It is also not that much more work. Also, unlike other people, for me it's all billable time. However, I still don't think they realize that they've given a Leo power and authority.
