You really do have the ability to get into the most unlikely of protagonists, and to make them captivating (and almost likeable! In a slightly creepy children's book way...) Excellent little tale.

Thank you! I think the Raiders are quite likeable, really, in a vicious-little-predator sort of way... wish the show had done a bit more with them!

Really enjoyed seeing Scar develop into a cunning warrior. Those raiders, they grow up so fast.

Those raiders, they grow up so fast.

I know! One minute, they're just learning to fly, and the next, they're slaughtering nuggets in an asteroid field. Hope they remember to call their Hybrid once in a while... *sniffle*

The Hybrid's reference-laden coaching after each resurrection is definitely the highlight here. 'The more you know' made me laugh.

heh, thanks! The Hybrids are the best. It's sort of ironic that something the Centurions made out of chewing gum, chunks of people, and spare parts is a better mommy than Ellen Tigh... :P

Well yeah, but let's face it: there are single-celled organisms which reproduce asexually who make better mothers than Ellen Tigh.

Seriously. I never heard of a protozoa that killed its own grand-protist with its psychic guilt-trip powers, for instance!
