And the thing is, it's funny but also awful...it sounds like he's making a flippant joke about corruption in religion, but he also knows something about his own creators (and Ellen in particular) that makes him hate them.

It's an interesting dynamic, isn't it? No wonder he's an atheist -- it's a little hard to take the idea of gods seriously when you have a personal relationship with the folks who built you out of spare parts. :P
