If I had sufficient information, I'd have contacted the authorities myself... but all I know is that his last name is Lamar, and he lives with his parents (whose names I can't remember) in Queen Creek, Arizona.

How recent is this information?

Just curious, because I'm asking around again, and a somewhat unreliable source told me that they were hanging out with Luke in Orlando two months ago. But this and that are all I have to go on.

He was there when I started talking to him again on my birthday (September 21), and was still there last time we talked, which was a few days ago, I think on Thanksgiving (he called at about 2 AM EST... said he'd been sick).

I had sent something to the Abuse Team at LJ, knowing that they do sometimes deal with this sort of thing. They said that it wasn't clear if he meant to do harm to himself and therefore they wouldn't release his information or make a call himself.

I've called local police and someone is going to call me back when they know more.

I'm WAY out of the way (PA) and it's a bit difficult to know how to help more...

The police told me they'd notify me as well, and I haven't heard anything yet. I don't know why it's taking so long, but I hope it's for good news.

GUys... I spoke to one of the police officers and Luke did kill himself on a Monday, on a grey day. The officer I spoke with was very kind, given the circumstance and the fact I'm not family, just a concerned friend. He said that Luca seemed very much at peace, given the note he had left. No one was blamed and nothing was said negatively... he was at peace.
