if you asked me as a 10-year old, whether i would ever take down one of the volumes of the encyclopedia to read .. for fun, at that .. then maybe i would shrug.
at the time i devoured facts voraciously.
my favorite book was called our amazing world and i learned about narwhals, about why antarctica could technically be a desert, and how fast cheetahs can sprint.
if you asked me the same question as a 20-year old, then i'd just look at you strangely.
if you asked me that question now, then i'd think about it ..
.. and realise that you were asking me an analog version of how much time i spend, reading random articles on wikipedia. (-:
