anyway ..
last night, one of my flatmates declared that for spring break (late february-early march) he would visit portugal. he even showed me a book he bought -- the lonely planet world food guide, for portugal.
browsing quickly through it, i was immediately jealous -- of his possession of such a fine foodie book, as well as his travel plans. in the book, the author promises cured meats, the mediterranean pace of life and clime, and most of all ..
.. porto wine -- the real stuff.
[sighs]
some people have such good ideas .. such tempting ideas ..
.. but my path remains clear: i will not go with him. there are other matters of mine which i must meet, and they matter more.
porto will always be there. maybe one day i will meet it .. but not in 2007.
