Ryoji had never actually bothered visiting the shrine before. Somehow, it seemed like the perfect place to spend what may be his last day at. It was a peaceful atmosphere, and so much more quiet a place than the dorm or schoolgrounds were ( Read more... )

Holly decided to take a short break from playing by going to the shrine. It was the most quiet, peaceful area she knew of that always had a nice breeze; a good place for her to cool down and rest. She rested the soccer ball on top of the offertory box, rolling it along the edges as she looked into the darkness of the temple's open doors.

Just then, a flash of yellow caught her eye, from past the red arches. Curious, she picked up the ball and tucked it against her side, as she walked past the arches and around the small fence around the holy tree. "Ryoji, is that you?"

*looks over, silent for a few more moments. It had been only him and his thoughts since so long*

Ah, Holly...? Good day. ^-^/ *waves*

Oh, I was thinking about things... even if they keep coming full circle.

It's a nice day today. Just enough sun, and enough wind. It would be a shame to stay inside.

That's true, isn't it?

-looks up to see a bit of sunlight filtering through the leaves-

So, how many days do you have left?

Well, today is supposedly my last...

I wonder what will happen. Maybe nothing will at all.

Probably nothing at all.

Well, if today's your last day, I hope you don't mind that I stick around?

*smiles, shakes his head* As you please.

Even if it turns out it isn't my last day, I appreciate the company.

-climbs over the fence and sits next to him, setting the ball in her lap-

So this is how you chose to spend your last day?

I had no idea how to spend it, actually. I thought this place was a good as any other.

All week I went to places with people, I think I saw the whole town within six days.

W-what? -looks at him, surprised- Wow.. I've been in Iwatodai for two months and I don't think I've seen everything yet.

*chuckles* I've been seeing a lot of people, so we have been going to many different places.

I like being with girls. ^___^

I see~ I'm glad you've had such a good "last" week then.

I wonder what I'd do if I had a week left.

Well, I'm not exactly sure why, but I haven't been as scared as someone on the brink of death should be, I think.

Hmm.. *thoughtful* I guess the most important is to make new memories.

Really? I think I'd freak out if someone told me I only had a week left..

Though, I don't think we have to worry about new memories. SEES seems like the perfect place for that.

I hope I get chances to make many more memories. Quite a silly prank to pull on someone, but I'll play it until the end.

You're a nice girl, Holly. You and Fuuka too. I never thought I could have gotten a quiet place to sleep when I came in the dorm.
It seems they are taking longer than I though to finish the work on the dorm too.
