My watch's battery ran out last weekend, and as of yet I've been unable to replace it. Consequently I've been doing without for the past few days. I've gotten used to the lack of its familiar weight on my wrist, but I have to say that being deprived of your watch really changes the way you look at the world. Yep, picked it up easy as breathing at the bookstore on Tuesday. It is filled with awesome, and is the subject of the above mentioned camera pics. Hopefully I'll get them all posted today, though it's hard to say . . . I took quite a lot of close ups between my Ryuuki- and Ensei-fangirlness, majochan's Seiran-fangirlness, and penguin_sensei's Shuuei-fangirlness. Not that taking close ups for those two is in any way a chore for me, of course, since I adore both Seiran and Shuuei, I just can't match those two in the extent of my adoration.

have you not yet heard of The Lies of Locke Lamora? and its just-published sequel Red Seas Under Red Skies? because they're awesome. and delightfully stand alone. well, i wouldn't read the 2nd before the first, as it has tons of spoilers and many references you wouldn't get, but you can easily read the first and not need the second, and don't have to sit pining for the 3rd in order to find out the conclusion of the plot.

it star a ridiculously clever theif. you'd love it. there's even pirates in the 2nd one.
