Hello all. Sorry, it's been so long since I've actually updated this thing, but I've been pretty dang busy. Last Saturday, Jake and I went to a battle of the bands in North Gadsden. Cara, Alison, and Shea went too. Cavalier Band was in the battle, so we had to go support 'em. They were awesome, and I can't believe that they didn't win :~( Later that night Cara, Ali, Shea, Jake, and I went to Waffle House and ate some greasy ass food, vomit yuck. On Sunday, I went to church with Jake, and afterwards I went with Amy and Summer to watch the boys from church play paintball in Jake's grandparent's pasture. It was hilarious, and really nasty hot lol. That night at church, Jake was supposed to get his license to be a minister, but Brother Wayne forgot, so he is "supposed" to get it this Sunday. After church, Jake,
Brock K. and his family, Jordan, Amy, and I went to Los Arcos to eat. Needless to say, Brock K. had to make some wonderful comments on what my chicken taco salad looked like lol. On Monday I went to work, and then that night Jake came over. At about 10 that night, Alison called me and told me to put Jake on the phone. I asked her what was wrong, and she said that Jordan had had a wreck. Jake and I went to Patterson Road in Sardis to see if we could get to the wreck, but the police had the road blocked. We found out that he and Eddie Dover, the guy in the other car, were being flown by MedFlight to Huntsville Hospital. We went back home, got some money from my mom and headed to the Sardis ballfields to pick Alison up. We were on our way to Huntsville and made it to the old Foodworld in Albertville when we found out that the helicopter had been rerouted to UAB hospital, so we turned around and went to UAB. It was quite a little adventure trying to find the hospital but we did. We waited for about an hour until Jordan's family came out and told us how he was doing. He has a chipped hip bone, and one of his ankles is really messed up. He has no internal injuries and no head trauma thank god. He will be having surgery tomorrow, and Jake and I are going down there to see him. I'm asking everyone to please keep Jordan and Eddie in your thoughts and prayers. It's a miracle that they are alive, because it was a head on collision and both cars are totaled. I saw Jordan Monday night, and he said that he loved me and thanked me for coming. Everyone, appreciate your friends, family, and loved ones because they could be gone in a second. Jordan and Eddie are lucky, but they both have a long road ahead of them with rehab and therapy. Appreciate your life, because it's the only one you have, and yeah life can equal a huge pile of shit sometimes, but get over it. Everyone has stuff going on in their lives. Peace out everyone and please pray for Jordan and Eddie.
