Vacation time!
As of 6 p.m. today, I am on VACATION. No, wait...PAID vacation! I will not be anywhere near any Subway (well, in the Effingham area) until the Monday after Thanksgiving. That is 10 days of freedom! Derek and I will be heading up to his mom's tomorrow afternoon. We will be there until Wednesday afternoon, at which point we will be taking the train back down to Effingham to spend Thanksgiving Day with my family. We will then be returning to Darien Thursday night, and will be there until Sunday afternoon. While in the Chicagoland area, I have two job interviews, and hopefully we will be looking at apartments.
In other news, I found out today that our huge payment for the wedding that's due January 2 can be split up into two payments: one on the 2nd and one by the end of January. This has almost eliminated all of the stress that I was under...and hopefully my trip to the doctor tomorrow morning will show that my blood pressure has dropped (or at least let's hope it has).
I also get to see ALL 3 of my best girls over my vacation! Yeah!
So, all I can really say is, SQUEEEE!
