Okay, okay, okay. So I may have been a little melodramatic when writing my last entry. The world is not ending, life continues, etc. But in my defense, I think that everybody just has one of those days, you know? But! This is a new week, and thus I am starting with a fresh outlook on life. Hah.

Anyway, just sitting here in the office, waiting for my boss to come in. Updating my plethora of blogs seems to be the thing that makes the most sense to me right now, so that is what I am doing. Duh. Sometimes I must be the most redundant person, but thanks for listening (reading?) anyway. Speaking of reading, as I was reading the Metro Express this morning, which is the little free paper they give you at the Metro Station (Subway, Tube, BART, etc, for those of you who don't know this particular term) and is a part of the Washington Post, they always have this little section that is just a bunch of quotes from people's blogs. You know, things that are very aptly put or cleverly worded about current topics and whatnot. My question is, who is reading all the millions (there must be millions, right?) of blogs on the internet and finding such quaint and succinct clippings to put in the paper? Is there some poor peon whose job it is to read blog after blog after blog, or is there some kind of blog word-search going on, or what? And if there is, how can I get in on that action, since blogging and reading blogs and all that nonsense is all I seem to be doing around here anyway?

That's my two-cents anyway. Well, really it's probably more like a cent and a half, but hey, unpaid intern here - lest we forget.
