Bluegrass State Games Success!

rode at the BGSG today in lexington at the horse park. Cy was awesome! well i guess that's a relative term - he was awesome for what he is capable of doing as he is not a very classy horse. i rode in the adult equitation class and the adult show pleasure class (even though he's really a country pleasure horse) and got 3rd both times. the equitation class was the best b/c brooke jacobs won (no way i was going to beat her) and this girl from stephanie england's barn was second on a really cute horse and then i was next. had i been on a better horse i probably could have gotten second but there were seven people in the class so 3 out of 7 isn't bad! cy somehow managed to get loose latter on during the day and was discovered wandering around behind the show ring just eating grass and hanging out. apparently he had gotten his stall door open and just walked on out. what a cy thing to do. at least he has some personality - that makes up for his lack of ability in performance classes.
'twas a good day. tonight like every sunday night is pizza night. yummy.
i kind of feel like watching the blues brothers. i listened to the soundtrack as i was running on the treadmill yesterday and it really got me excited about watching it. i love dan akroyd in his older movies - he was so funny. now he's just overweight. the scene at the triple rock with james brown and chaka khan and at the chez paul are my two favorites by far.
