Hey, I'm going friends-locked for a while. I've been pretty free with my life to the intarwebs at large for a while, but I'm thinking it's time for a change, you know, for funsies. I think they're worried that I'm removing people from my friends list, which I'm not. I just changed all of my entries that were previously public to friends-locked, so only people on my friends list can read them. No big deal, as long as you're signed in on LJ when you look at my journal, you should still be able to read everything!

"Friends-locked" means that only people you have listed as a friend on LJ can read the entry. When you post an entry, you can choose if you want the entry to be public (so anyone who happens across it can read it), friends-locked (so just the people on your friends list can read it), or private (so only you can read it). You can also filter your friends list into "custom groups" so only certain people on your friends list can read it.

Clear as mud, right?
