Sometimes, it is impossible to keep in touch with friends. It is not that you do not want to or your not interested. There are a lot of factors to consider. Like your friends have other priorities in life that they need to do, you are at different places, different schools, boyfriends/girlfriends, and etc. You only get the chance to met Once in a blue moon and during emergencies, not necessarily life threatening. All of this factors does not chance the fact that they were part of your history and that , they are your friends.
In this instance, I was walking by Divisoria after doing school work errand. It was lunch time. I only had one hour break before the next class. Then, I saw from across the street, Nichell and her boyfriend, Kim. My smile was so big when I saw them. It has been 48 years since I last saw her. I asked them if they ate already. She said no and brought me to Tapsi Time, Divisoria. We did some slight catching up. I was really happy that we met up. :)
So why did I entitle this blog entry as " Whats left of CRAD"? CRAD represents the friends I grew up with in high school. It is composed of the first letters of our family names. The letter R there is ROSETE. What is so special of meeting up with Nichell??? Among the four of us, it is only Nichell and I who are left in Cagayan de Oro City. One is at Zamboanga, and the other is at California.
