Hey yall!
So my BFA Musical Theatre audition is this Saturday. I am very excited! I feel prepared and not too nervous. I'm singing Morning Person from Shrek the Musical, and Astonishing from Little Women, and my monologues are from Your Money's Worth by Kellie Powell and Lights Over Kentucky by Rebecca McCarthy. I also have to do a dance audition that's the stylings of musical theatre, ballet, modern, and one other that I can't seen to remember. In addition to ALL that, I have to take a music theory set, sight sing, and sight read at the piano.
All in all, I'm pretty freaking excited. It's going to be a lot of fun. I never get the chance to really show what I can do to the best of my abilities, and I'm going to try my hardest to get into this program. I really, really want to get in, and they accept very few applicants. If I don't get in, I'll be sad, but the BA program is almost the same, and I can reaudition one more time in my freshman year.
So that's it! Tomorrow I leave for Fredonia, see a hockey game, go to bed early, and get up early for my nine am audition. Wish me luck!!!!
