I never knew that about him.
I was just writing away quite happily, and had one of those moments when something happens quite unexpectedly, and you find something out about a character that you didn't know. This was an OC, and yeah, this wasn't expected.
And it's like... do I go with this? MUST I go with this? I don't think it's a huge nexus for the story as a whole, but nonetheless I still have to go there, I think. And it kind of shifts the whole thing, like the Pole of the story moving a couple of degrees off North. Although apparently that happens globally all the time. Just a little. Which freaks me out. What if the world quit spinning and we all fell off? That would SUCK.
