Monday Monday
Aaaaand I have the evening off. We went to a concert by this experimental classical music ensemble Silencio who did this astounding ambient performance. It was like sitting in a garden and hearing the weather change, and the various sounds of the garden and the city and I have no words to really describe this at all, so suffice to say it was great. It was very meditative for me as well, I feel brain-cleansed.
After that, we went and had chai lattes at a cafe and I read Vanity Fair (the magazine, rather than the novel). I love it, the advertisements are so artful, they're almost nicer to look at than the actual content. But the actual content is pretty interesting as well.
I had most of a free afternoon today as well. I had a whole list of things to do:
1. Laundry (with a capital L)
2. Tidying the house
3. Working on my book review
4. Working on fun writing
5. Working on research writing
6. Practicing my oboe (it's been a month or two :( )
7. Wrap my sister's Christmas presents ready for send off (I defaulted because I could not find sticky tape).
8. Supermarket shopping
9. Reading
10. Clearing out my wardrobe
What I did:
