Then whose is it?
I'm watching this new New Zealand drama called "This is Not my Life," which is kind of crap. It's a shame because it almost could be good, it's quite styley and the premise is kind of intriguing. The number of ads on terrestrial tv are quite annoying, but basically the pace of it WILL NOT PICK UP. And they're giving too much away for it to be mysterious like Lost is, and not enough for there to be any real suspense. I think it would be better if the main character thought he was nuts, just a little bit - or if we weren't sure. I think that I've read too many science fiction stories. Nothing will really surprise me ever again. My bet at this time is an evil pharmaceutical company, but we'll see.
It's kind of in the style of the very near future, but one that we'll look back on in a couple of years and think: yeah, that's so 2010. And there's that thing in NZ of knowing about a third of the actors in any tv thing on a personal basis. The potentially evil doctor used to be in Tony's class. :)
Anyway I'm going to try and stick with it, and see what happens. So 2010. Heee! I got my drivers licence renewed a couple of months back, which was weird because when I first got it, back in 2000 I think it was issued, or earlier, anyway, back then I thought 2010 was the distant future. Now it is NOW.
Oooh something exciting just happened on this show. Only a couple of hours in! There is hope!
