Bradford and Joanne Harris

Jun 26, 2012 09:45

We were away for the weekend, in Bradford, which turns out to be a smashing place (Check out the Media Museum and the Impressionist gallery!) full of the friendliest people on earth.

I was there to listen to Joanne Harris (Chocolat, Blue eyed boy, etc) talk and read, - and she was superb; a natural. I also managed to meet up with a couple of old friends, and meet a few new ones
I really would recommend Bradford!
Amazing, eh?

I loved what we did, but we're still trying to do too much. Exhaustion always kicks in. So I decided to chop a couple of projects, and slightly adjust my routine. Perhaps my description of me as a full-time writer should be adapted; I could claim 'writer who works till 10 am every day, and then clears off out for a swim/aquarobics/aquazumba/walk etc for the rest of the day'.
Hmm. Clumsy, but more honest.

The guilt-free way to live!

love and blessed be
