This has been a completely terrible, awful week! I was so excited about the ball and then to have it end with that on my forehead, I just...! I almost considered cutting a fringe just to hide it, though I settled with hats, but it didn't matter because everyone knew it was there! And maybe it shouldn't have been so bad because a lot of people had words on their head, but it was! It was absolutely terrible! I'm so glad I didn't have classes - I don't know how I would have functioned! I'm lucky I remembered to give Marly her presents on Friday, even though I didn't really feel up to a party! Which is wretched! You only turn 16 once!
Maybe the worst was that it was still on my forehead when I came home on the train, so Mum and Dad saw it and asked about it! Then Heidi had to go and say that it was true and...oh!
It was gone when I woke up this morning! Why couldn't it have been yesterday so my family was spared seeing it as well! Now I can't even completely hide at home for a while!
I think I could really use some brownies!
