Just wanted to apologize for the following things:
#1. I have inappropriately giving personal opinions during my personal time on my personal journal. Of course this is wrong. Because i work for the government, I lose I lose any right I once had to have or share my own opinions.
#2. I contributed to Ron Sims' re-election campaign. Even though I thought it was money I earned and therefore I had a right to spend it how I saw fit, I now realize that it is tax-payer money and it was highly inappropriate for me to spend any of my paycheck for purposes that may offend any single taxpayer as it is really their money.
I get it now. Government workers must give up their 1st Amendment Rights as they are servants (read slaves) of the public who pays for their salary. I will immediately begin asking permission to all tax payers before I make any purchases, contribute any money, or express any thoughts. Could we take a quick poll to determine whether or not I can even have thoughts of my own without first acquiring tax-payer permission?
Whatever people. When I clock out, I can speak my own opinions just as everyone else can. Believe it or not, government employees have the same rights as every other citizen in the US. I can't even believe how stupid some of you are. (Velvet Smog and Krull more than most).
