Some quick updates
This past weekend was insanely busy for me...
Labyrinth, which was last Friday and Saturday, was pretty damn swank. Even with a bunch of mishaps they pulled off a good con and a really good vender's space. I pretty much broke a record in print sales, which was a happy surprise. Only gripe I have about the con is its hours - its really late hours - like its 3PM to Midnight on Friday hours and Noon to 2AM hours on Saturday. Frigging odd as hell if you ask me. But other than that it was a good time and I'll probably do the Wicked Faire on February, which is ran by the same folks.
Sunday was the Philly Zombie Crawl Zombie Prom. That my dear boils and ghouls was a frigging smash! Everything was fantastic with barely a hitch. The Troc was packed, the make-up artists were busy, and the bands kicked ass. We will certainly be doing this again and making it another Philly tradition to help kick-off the Halloween season.
Then I got sick. Nothing too bad. Well at least nothing that would require a doctor, but nothing you all really want to read about. Let's just say the bathroom hates me. I'm feeling better today but my tummy is still gurgling. Very Lovecraftian.
This Friday is the opening reception for the Creature Double Feature gallery exhibition which will be held at AxD Gallery here in Philly. That runs from 5PM to 8PM. The exhibition itself runs from the 5th through November 3rd. AXD Gallery is located at 265 S. 10th Street.
And the Eccentrik Festival Art Show is well on its way. It's part of the Eccentrik Festival. The gallery exhibition started October 1st and runs to October 31st at Pitch Gallery. I have a few pieces displaying. Though I can't make it down to Raleigh, NC I hope that some of you reading this will be able to check out the art show.
And Halloween is right around the corner. Happy days my friends. Happy days.
