Spur of the moment visit to
Duxford Air museum yesterday was good with weather calm and autumnly sunny but not too cold. The place was busy as it's half term and i didn't realise. There were Tiger Moths and a
Dragon Rapide that you could fly in. I was interested in seeing the
Short Sunderland Flying Boat, Concorde 101 (1971), Britannia and the Catalina flying patrol boat. I just missed getting to talk to an ex-concorde pilot. can't win 'um all :)
I also got to see lots of Spitfires and Hurricanes (I can't tell the difference! maybe the wing shape) in flying condition. One even flew off as i was leaving.
