Meanwhile Back in Cambs...

I've enjoyed 2 berfday events. One lovely colourful meal at Bedouin and a Friday trip to London to see Jah Wobble and various collaborators. The Under the Bridge venue is excellent, thus making it a great evening and we were back to KX for the penultimate train :) I even got D on a London bus! (thanks to the excellent Citimapper App).

Saturday brought another catch up meeting with J and family down from Scotland. So another big meal in a pub, the Cambridge Blue this time. 14 of us altogether by the end! Then I had to dash off to a Digital Media/Computing History talk at Kettles Yard. But sadly battling thru Cambridge on a Saturday either on bike or foot is just horrendous! It didn't put me in a good mood!! Sadly the talks were boring on the most part but it was good to finally meet Nina Pope and get to see most of their Kentwell '...Tudors' film. Cycling back across town was just exasperating! (Apparently there might have been a footba match on in town as well!). I really won't bother with that city on a Saturday again.

And tomorrow, later today, is another lovely meal, this time cooked lovingly by B on the Aga - Roast Pheasant from Zumerzet. That's a good quiet berfday week :) So much to still get done.
