Wellington rattled by quake in the Strait

Earthquake deep but enough to cause damage in Wellington city. I suggested in a post on 18 November, that this area was due for a shake... we didn't have to wait long it seems. Also weird is that non-earthquake compliant or weak govt buildings were closed down yesterday... and then the first sizeable earthquake to shake the area in ages, hits a day later - weird. Must be a conspiracy ;)
