Life takes another interesting turn :)
I haven't seen the comet yet. But the sunset over the volcanoes as seen from Taupo the other night was luveeeeeeeerly. Shame my camera isn't working properly. Got new rechargable batteries now tho, so maybe it'll be happy again soon. I hope so.
Been zooming around in a (I'm horrified to admit this) lovely big BMW 645ci softop sportscar. Sooo easy and smooth to drive. Hugs those corners better than my Soobi. Oh dear, big grins. Sorry Soobi.
It's been pissing with rain but humidly hot (24C) at the same time. Then sun comes out and toasts ya. I also have to admit to having got burnt... cos I stayed too long on a humidly fog-bound Mt Maunganui beach. So wanted to just jump in the water... but there were people.... hundreds of *other* people! Just not my thing ;)
Running the hostel today. Thankfully the sun has come out again. Gotta dash.
