Hoopy
So I went to a hooping class with Suzanne the other day. It was a lot of fun! I'd only done any hooping a few times before, but I really enjoyed the sense of "directed momentum" - it reminded me a little bit of juggling, and it was sort of relaxing and meditative in a way. Plus, the instructor was super nice, and did a really great job of managing the wide range of skill - there was at least one guy there who had clearly been doing this for quite a while, a few who were just getting started, and a handful in between.
So yeah, good times and light exercise. I'll be going back.
In less happy news, I think It's time to give up on my iPod. Der Blitzmuzak is officially MIA and presumed dead. Time for a new Shuffle, I suppose, unless there's some really awesome high-end mp3 player out there that I haven't noticed.
