I'm leaving tomorrow morning to fly to Atlanta for the week. It's my first business trip, but since it's for training purposes and I won't be under pressure to accomplish some grandiose goal for the company, I think it could be fun. Hopefully the seminars won't be overly cheesy. There's good cheesy and bad cheesy. An example of good cheesy? Any sitcom from the 1950s-1970s. Bad cheesy is stuff like ice breaker games that are meant to get you super enthused about your job! Ah, well. Almost every aspect of this trip is on the company's dime, so I can't complain. Plus, I get to hang out with Thomas a lot while I'm there! And possible see my cousin Jeff next weekend when we go to the Georgia Aquarium.
Hopefully the commute won't be affected by the snowstorm. I also hope I don't forget anything!
