lost in Bavaria

So Last Sunday I decided I could use a break from studying for the GRE and I decided to go for a trail ride. My riding instructor called me and asked it a new student could join us. I of course was like the more the merrier. So I drive out to the barn and actually I was late and some of the girls had already gotten my horse for me.( I need to do something nice for them. They are always very helpful) Anyway and this guy who was my age was the new student ok cool not many guys like to ride but hey great. I should add that my teacher is a beautiful tall leggy blonde who is single and in her late 20's. She is always at the barn and I some how got the impression that this guys was far more interested in her than in horses. So we start off and things are going alright he spends most of the time trying to talk to her then he decides he wants to be in the lead because he lives not to far away and knows the area. We think ok whatever we are easy going. Then we go into the woods and everything is fine until the guy convinces us that he is 100% that we should take a left instead of a right on the trail and well we ended up leaving the woods to be somewhere that my teacher had no idea where we were. The guy was like it's fine just follow me. So we stupidly follow him. To make matters worse he randomly decides he wants to gallop off with his horse. Which completely pisses off our two horses especially since my riding teacher is on a horse she is training and getting used to being ridden outside. So we have to tell him that if he wants to trot thats fine but he needs to ride at a normal pace not as fast as his horse will take him and if he wants to canter then he needs to tell us too and we have to all agree. ( the rules of trail riding you communicate with each other) So yeah this guy is like ok I'll raise my right hand and then gallop. I had to explain to him that horses don't like to think they are being left behind and after our two horses had a rather nice bucking fit when we naturally did not let them just run off with us. My instructor was very close to getting bucked off. After that he decided we weren't brave enough but he would listen to the two cowardly women who did not want to have any fun. So this goes on for several hours after ridding though the woods and then through hops fields and going back into the same exact part of the woods a second time after riding around in a huge circle. I can see a village through the trees and I say hey lets go right and at least ride out of the woods and see what village this is maybe it is our village. He said no he was sure we should go the other way. I'd had enough so I said see ya and went my own way so did my instructor and then he followed and guess what it was our village. So by this time we were hungry so we decided to call in a pizza into the local pizzeria and then we rode up to the restaurant and got our food. Well the guy had to go out because we weren't allowed to bring the horses into the restaurant. So we stood outside and ate our food and drank cappuccino and it was hilarious. People from the restaurant wanted to take pictures of us. Then we were able to make it home just before it was too dark to ride. I thought it was pretty funny. Oh and the guy paid for our cappuccino to make up for getting us lost.

I thought it was a story worth telling.
