SO UNTIL RIGHT NOW, I FEEL REALLY STUPID THAT I FORGOT ANNIE HAD A DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY.

UH, NO LIE, I ALSO FORGOT ABOUT THAT UNTIL I WROTE THE END OF THIS.

(This is what I worked out writing this: What's the only occasion on each show when a "past" event is specifically shown to have changed b/c of one of the characters? LoM: Sam saves the woman in the red dress from his childhood, who turns out to be Annie. A2A: Gene, not Evan, saves little!Alex, who is chasing a red balloon.)

This makes me want to watch LoM.

(I have been working on the theory that nothing was actually changed, and Gene was always there. Alex as an unreliable narrator is far more interesting. Plus, I still believe it is all fundamentally real.)

I'm starting to think it might all actually be one big story. I mean, the first series of A2A pretty much stands alone, but with all the callbacks this season...I don't know.

It's truly fabulous! I love how confused and lost you've portrayed them as being. It's just perfect. All in all, just wonderful.

daygloparker sent me, and it is so awesome she did. this is beautiful. really, really, the way they're all broken to fit together, and annie is mysterious and gene is smug and sam is sam, it's bright and bleak and wonderfully hopeful just at the end. i love it.

dammit, is it 2010 yet?

Oh, thank you, thank you! I still really want something like this to be canon, or at least to have Sam and Annie back, and I seriously cannot even handle the wait until 2010.
