So, apparently my coping mechanism for having no new SVU to waste my time with is to find an even dumber show to watch.
Which turned out to be Torchwood.
I've only seen like two episodes so far, but I actually like it. It has stupid people fighting aliens and when they're not incompetently fighting aliens, apparently they all make out with each other, which is fiiiine by me. I think I really love Tosh, as the Least Stupid Member of the team and the Computer Nerd, Gwen I want to pat on the head and drink tea with. I get all the stuff I've heard about Jack, and why people ship him with everything that moves. (I was switching back and forth between Torchwood and SVU for a bit, and um, the idea of Jack/Olivia kind of knocked some stuff over in my brain, I think.) It is made of complete and utter crack and is really kind of terrible.
Yay.
I'm probably not going to go back and watch the first season, because I've been informed that it will make me want to punch things. But, look, I have an icon.
