It was done. Her project was over and put aside, locked away in the safe beneath the estate basement. Anna let go a soft sigh as she stepped out of the library, an off set summoning book in her arms. A mog scuttled behind her quickly, hurrying to keep up with Anna's long strides across the white marble floor. Her black summoners robe flowed behind her, the train furling with each step down the double banister stairwell, and then through the back meeting room and into the Summoning chamber. Thorn was probably still sleeping, and the army in the backyard had been taken care of the night before, shrunken down to one third the physical size so that they'd all fit in the caverns beneath the house. Ever since Leela's home had been attacked, Anna had upped her security of the wards and had tripled the protective power of her shields over the estate.
She wasn't going to let forty generations of Trüble magic and family fall to a few aerial strikes. And like bloody hell she'd let her army fall before they saw their battle. The estate glimmered beneath the shields energy. And the rest of Paris, France glittered in the distance.
