This may take as while...

So, Friday, about midday we leave, so far I've been awake for approx 26 hours straight, and I'm not even at the festival.
After two traumatic experiences which involve us nearly crashing the car and shredding Bonnie's nerves to pieces, we come away with just a cracked car bonnet.
Luckily we did arrive in full health, although in desperate need of alcohol.

Tent done, beer out, befriend our neighbours, one of whom bears an uncanny resemblance to Maxwell of Big Brother fame, something he's heard too much apparently and is not best pleased, another who is affectionatly known as "The Bitch" and has put all three tents up. The same bitch spent the weekend rolling joints at least every half hour, oh and the more popular name for him was Shaybo.
Met dear Jeffiner, introduced her to the lads, these lads being friends of mine from round here David was dressed up as Spiderman and was wandering around the campsite for the night breakdancing... who she was rather scared of, what with their drunkeness/stoned giggly stupor.
So the weekend began, met Bonnie's Galway mates/Exes, who were with a guy who's just finished doing the course I'm off to do in September.
Anyway, did get to bed, and got a few hours sleep, only to be awoken by Maxwell/Conor screaming "eh-eh-ehhhhh," y'know, the Little Britain thing...

Saturday began, by drinking as soon as I'd finished brushing my teeth.
Twas great. And tasted surprisngly nice actually.
Bands witnessed included:
The Marshall Stars-Promo team were ace, free badges AND t-shirts
The 747's-They were minus a lead guitarist because he lost his passport, bless, could have bopped lots to them
Kaiser Chiefs-As entertaining as ever, we danced like a group of nutters and received many a strange look from arseholes who were in the pit waiting for Snoop Dog. Tut.
Razorlight-Borrel was looking hot, in white, surprise surprise, then got a bit nekkid, which was nice. I screamed, and danced, and got more strange looks, and they played Keep The Right Profile, no-one knew the words, infact, I think they only knew the words to Golden Touch. Tut.
Steve Harley-Song from an advert, can't remember it right now though...
Echo and the Bunneymen- Mum was transported back to her youth, she was fangirling over Ian MCwhatshisname, it was funny.
The Bravery-I don't want to talk about it.
Bloc Party-We were in front of Russel, it was prettyness. Equipment kept fucking up, Gordon wasn't happy, even less than normal, Kele was drunk, headlocked one of the sound guys, wrestled Russel to the floor as far as I can remember. Smashed their instruments up at the end. Gordon's bass through Matt's bass drum. My camera broke. Bastard.
Kasabian-My god that was crazy, some stupid Prodigy fan who was both twice as old and twice as big as me started threatening me for no reson, it scared the shit out of me...The light show was brilliant, they were smiley and brilliant and yes, it was great.
The Go! Team- Caught the last couple of songs, made me dance like loon, twas great.
The Tears-Oh. My. Higher being above. Those two men made me want to do dirty things. To myself. And others. I think I scared Neil during them, I was rambling shite, ie making up stories involving them... Bernad came onstage dragging the Drummer, so the drummer ended up involved in these stories too...The songs were pretty good too of course. I was fascinated...It was great...But it also made me realise that I need to somehow acquire somekind of sex life...I pity that poor person.
ON the subject of sex lives, mum must reckon I'm shagging everything that moves, I keep noticing contraception leaflets, and the shiny condom tins from the weekend appearing near my bags/bedroom and the like. All I can say is, I wish, and I'm sure that's more than enough of an insight into my life for now.

I'll leave Sunday for another time, there's loads there to keep you going, possibly too much but hey-ho.

ON a last note, I think
(the black clouds did disappear on Sunday though) sums the weekend up quite nicely.
Oh, Saturday was spent walking aorund in my ace stripey wellies by the way, that is something everyone needs to know.
