What a beautiful day it was today. For the first time in months I was able to walk around outside without a coat! Hey, when you've been bundled up to the eyeballs in winter gear, that's big news. What a great way to end the week. What's almost as cool is it's almost 11:00pm and I haven't had to turn the heat on yet; Always good to save a few pennies.
Actually, this couldn't have come at a better time. Me and a co-worker had a verbal confrontation at a meeting yesterday. She accused me of not assisting in answering our office phones or assisting students at the reception desk. Both of which are flat-out LIES! And that's not just my opinion. I asked others if they thought that was was true and they all said "No". What kills me is we got a guy in our office who really DOESN'T do these things (unless he knows the boss is looking), yet she points the finger at me. WTF?! I'm glad she was off today. I don't want to go off on her again. I'm sorry I did it in the first place. Not because she was right, but it made me look unprofessional. But with three days to chill out over it, I should be OK come Monday. If I'm lucky, she won't even try speaking to me.
As for the weekend, the only thing different I might be doing is catching a movie with Bett. She wants to go see "Mad Money", a comedy starring Queen Latifah. I never heard of it until she mentioned it, but the trailer looked interesting so for a buck, you can't go too wrong.
