'Tis the Winter of our discontent
I Hate Winter!(and it's not even officially here yet)
Ok, now that I got that off my chest...How y'all doin'?
Yep, it's been another long while, 16 weeks to be exact.... I guess I'm never gonna be regular...um, a regular blogger that is...heh heh. The problem, at least for me, is that when I want to blog, I can't, usually because I'm at work at the time. So by the time I get home, I've either forgotten what I was gonna say or I just don't feel like bothering with it. I know there's various mobile solutions: Laptops, cell phones, etc. Well, I do have a laptop, but it's not the lightest thing to carry around (it's a 17" widescreen). As for the cell, that's out. My phone is one of those no-frill kind, and that's just what I want. I refuse to pay extra fees to surf mobilely. I could blog from work, but I'm interrupted too many times. So I'm left with doing it from home. I guess It's just gonna happen when it happens. Sorry.
So, what's the state of affairs since four months ago? Pretty much same-old, same-old. One notable change: I'm now a fill-in DJ on Dementia Radio. I've done a number of shows so far and I like it. I wish I could do more so I could get over being nervous come air time. Of course, having some kind of technical snafu happen every show doesn't help much either. One thing I do need to do is become more familiar with the DJ software I'm using. There's a lot of goodies there but right now I know just enough to get me through my show.
What else? Well, I go on Xmas vacation in two days...WHEE! Unlike last year's trip to Arizona, I'll be staying home this year, except for being at my Sister's for a couple days. I'll also be attending a Xmas dinner with the MOFO crowd and probably spend New Year with Chris and John. Of course, if I get a chance to attend a party, I'll go that route.
