Just checking in..
Hi everyone! I haven't written in a long time, probably because I've had very little free time at a computer in the past few weeks.
I'm just sitting here at 3:40 on a Friday anxiously waiting the end of another week and the beginning of a long weekend! YAY!
Saturday is like Christmas... why? Because of UFC 60 of course! Gracie vs Hughes, its gonna be nuts. I think Gracie has the edge to win, but I'm pulling for Hughes all the way.
Wednesday night myself, Tiffany and my friend Bryan went out for bike night. We started out at Hooters for some all-you-can-eat wings, but Hooters won because we werent hungry enough to get a 2nd plate. Then we ended up at Joe's Crab Shack to listen to music and drink more beer. While we were there, 2 guys rode in on their bikes with a little girl between them riding a mini-sport bike. I'd seen these mini-bikes before, but they arent really intended for kids to drive. It was the cutest damn thing I ever saw. When they passed back around, Bryan recorded it on his cell phone.
With the weather getting nice outside I started flying my RC battery-powered plane again. Its a lot of fun! This year I want to upgrade it with a brushless motor setup and Li-Poly batteries that are less than half the weight of NiCad or Ni-Mh batteries. However, last time I was at Hobby Town to look at parts, I got excited by a video of a ready-to-fly (RTF) remote-control helicopter, so I bought it and have been trying to learn to fly it over the past week. Its pretty difficult but I'm getting better slowly but surely. I've ordered some simulator software so I can practice on the computer without breaking more rotor blades. For anyone interested, its called the Blade CP.
