I was going to see if my thoughts were true, so I am just going to assume here.
There is a huge amount of music out there, and less than 5% of it gets on the airwaves. Now not all of that unplayed music is great or even listenable, but think of how much of that 5% fits into those boxes as well.
I challenge you to go out and find some new music. Local bands. Imports. Things you are not going to find at Tower Records or Borders.
