My friends and I have, for some years, decided to get a tattoo to commemorate the life and times of our late brother, Jason Daigle. He was taken before his time, and even though it sounds lame to say, near the end of his time with us, he led by example, which may come as a surprise to those that remember the slight, shy individual from Donevan Collegiate. It's a personal story, but the few that were there with me the day he got hit know exactly what I'm talking about. But I digress.
Colin and JP have taken the leap on a decided tattoo design that both immortalizes Shagz in his eternal youth and captures his free, easy-going spirit. The character above was Shagz' trademark brand. And damn, near the end, he was one hell of an improved skater.
He was only 19, taking a year off to decide his future. He was really coming into his prime, and I can't help but think what he would be like as he matured along with us. Once the ink is on my skin, I will never stop wondering. I don't want to.
