Work Stuff
First up, thank you again for all your supportive comments/thoughts/vibes etc. for my manager.
He's now been discharged from the hospital (as of Tuesday just gone) and is apparently in good spirits if lacking (understandably) in energy.
Naturally he won't be back at work (though knowing him we may need to lock him out) til well into 2011, but at least he'll eventually have the choice. How easily this could all have been different.
On Tues night we had a Christmas meeting at work, and there was a get well card going round. R remarked that it was hard to think what to write - and then trumped himself by pointing out how much harder it would have been if S had died.
We stood and thought this through for a moment and then fell about laughing: like THAT would have been the main thing to worry about!! "It's all about ME!!" Haha!
Anyway, S is on the mend, and we are all unanimously happy about that :))))
