Rather nice pictures under cut - from Sunday times magazine, 13th Dec 2009.
It was a great day, yesterday.
First of all, at 9am, after a bit of faff with different websites and random allocations, I managed to book the tickets for 'the Little Dog Laughed' - much glee and happiness to be on a close-to-the-front row, though we aren't central.
At 9.15, I was flicking through the paper, half reading an article on how theatre visits were up 26% this year, and thinking how a combination of Harry Lloyd, my friends and I were partially responsible for this, when who should be on the next page, but Mr. H. Lloyd himself!!
then later, a man turned up to fix our guttering!! No, not the tosser who ruined it in the first place, but a random gutter man who was replacing some gutters further up the road - and on being asked, he did it for two beers. to say we are delighted is to underestimate how much this problem has been troubling us!
Right so,
My scanner is a bit too good for this job - or the quality of the times magazine paper isn't, but either way, these are a bit grainy, and I can only apologise. But still, PREttIES!!
Oh, and why no mention of the Arcola's 'Ghosts'? He was even better in that than 'A View From the bridge' IMO. And when will he no longer be best known for Will Scarlett??!
Ben snuck in!!
Ben couldn't resist a little feel of Harry either!
P.S. Rupert Penry Jones was in the other half of this 'whole theatre' shot - I'm glad he wasn't near H - in fact he could barely be further away and still in the picture - because I still haven't forgiven him for stealing into my dreams and stealing all my freezer food while he was there (even if I did make him give me £60 in recompense)!! Mind you, thanks to the repeats, I now remember he played Grimaldi to David tennant's Casanova, so perhaps that's where my psyche fell out with him...
