Wait, what?
How is it August already? Despite the never-ending quality of most of my days lately, this year is just flying by!
Today was a rough day at work. It's bad enough I only had a one-day weekend, but the week's work load has been brutal. And today things were made more . . . oh, let's call it interesting, as the company laid off a number of folks in packaging. There is no official word on why, and there will undoubtedly never be an official word. That's not how the company operates. The rumor mill, however, was absolutely cranking! By the end of the day, just about everybody was in full-on panic mode. Oh well, I've already vented on the subject to Wiccy, so we'll move on.
Not much else is going on. Haven't had much time to do anything, with work kicking my ass as it has been. I did watch "Epitaph One," the unaired episode of Dollhouse the other day. I very much enjoyed it, and am interested to see how it all gets worked into season two. Following that, and after a lengthy hiatus, I watched most of Wonderfalls, thus completing Wiccy's introduction to the series.
Tomorrow will be the normal comic book run, so maybe I'll have something more to say then. We're heading down to Cincy this weekend, so I should at least get an entry out of that. Okay, I'm really tired now, so I should probably go to bed.
