Has it really only been four days?
Ok, so I just looked at the date of my last entry. It was dated a mere four days ago. Maybe five. I'm American, so my math sucks, live with it. :-) Anyway, a brief update on me.
Monday morning was hectic, taking care of all the last minute things I had to do, all while the first real snowfall of the year was going on. And then I hit the road for 7 hours. 7 hours and 5 minutes to be precise, best time yet. So, I've been in Philly all this week.
Tuesday, I was able to get to Best Buy to pick up a copy of Return of the King on DVD, the extended version of course. Then all the busyness began. My dad was released from the hospital. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that he'd had a heart attack last week. Well, he did, and now he's out of the hospital. So, most of this week I've been at his house helping him out with stuff he can't do right now, like go food shopping and the like.
And tomorrow is my sister's wedding rehearsal, with the wedding on Saturday. Once all that craziness is done, and everything returns to "normal" I think I'm going to seclude myself to do a LotR marathon. I doubt my family will let me rest that long, but I can dream can't I?
Oh, and for any Browncoats out there, there was a special surprise screening of the movie for some lucky filmgoers yesterday. Word from those in attendance is that the movie is absolutely awesome! Is it September yet?
