Our training class has been steadily dwindling down in size. The initial count was 12 people, but by the time the class started there were 8 people on the list. On the first day of class, only 6 of us showed up. And yesterday, we lost one more. It is a great small class size. With 5 people, it is more of an open forum and a lot more relaxed. The training this week is all about kitchens and selling them. Holy crap there is a lot to learn! Even though I'm going to be working in the Appliances Department, I will be right next door to Kitchens and Baths, so I will need to be cross-trained on them as well ( Read more... )

Ugh! It's too early to get up. This week I have training at another store and I have to get up at 5:30 AM each morning. I'm not a morning person, so this will be a challenge. Today I got up as soon as the alarm went off, but I'm sure it will get harder to get up as the week goes on.

I'm relaxed now. I was just chatting with eezb and just being able to type out my issues has been very helpful. Thanks Matt! It gave me the opportunity to see what my issues were and realize that it is not as big of a deal as I was making it out to be ( Read more... )
