Feels like home
Niagara Falls is starting to feel like home. I feel like I belong here.
I never really considered Edmonton home when I lived there. It always felt like I was just staying for a while or visiting. The only thing that I became comfortable with was the bus schedules and routes. I never had the urge to settle down and buy a house there. And our apartments were just places to keep our things, not a place to call home.
Niagara Falls is having a different effect on me. I consider our basement apartment a home. I know I want to move into a better place, but as the saying goes, "Home is where the heart is" and that is exactly what I'm feeling. My heart is here.
