Catch-up post
Oh my goodness! I didn't realize that I hadn't posted since November. Shame on me.
Let's see...what have I been doing?...
I have been pretty busy working at The Home Depot. I really love working there a lot. Hmmm, I thought I would have had more to say about that. Oh well.
rogonandi and I have picked up a couple more games for our GameCube. We added Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Luigi's Mansion to our list of games. Mario Kart is so fun to play. :D It cracks me up to see rogonandi's expression change to one of frustration when I happen to get the high score on one of the courses. After which I ask him if he wants to play, to which he does and proceeds to regain the high score. LOL!
I haven't been able to beat him in a vs. race YET. ;)
I also enjoy playing in co-op mode. Since there is no competition between us in that mode, it makes the game just fun to play. I love stealing objects from the other cars, but I have on more than one occasion, caused us to swerve and go off the course by grabbing when there was no one there to grab from. hehehe.
I'm still learning the controls on Luigi's Mansion. There is a bit of a learning curve when operating the vacuum cleaner to suck up the ghosts. I am getting the hang of it though.
A couple of days ago I finally broke-down and got a Facebook account. It surprised me how quickly people came out of the woodwork to add me.
Other stuff that happened: hurt my back while helping a friend move, got sick a couple of times, added more DVDs to our movie collection, and had diner out a few times with friends.
I'm sure I missed a bunch of things, but right now I'm drawing a blank.
