So yesterday morning my phone rings.
Mostly, I ignore calls but for some reason I actually reached over and answered it.
It was someone I associated with when I worked at GAMA. Mostly, he was chatting but I was waiting for the hidden agenda.
Then it hit, he asked one question - on the record so to speak.
"Does GAMA have relevance in the games industry?"
Sounds like an easy question but it's not.
I thought about it long and hard, all day and even here at work this evening. Finally, I have an answer germinating in my thick skull...
The Game Manufacturers Association holds little relevance in it's current form.
Now, this isn't to say I feel GAMA could not have relevance just that in it's present form, it is a 2 ton behemoth stuck in it's supposed heyday.
That is all.
