dudeee life is sweet. i don't know why i haven't been a camp counselor every year. all i do is beat kids up, go swimmming, and play kickball. i get to act like an 11 year-old and it's really easy to do. i throw water balloons and eggs at kids. i get all the snacks i want. unlimited honey buns. yes, please.
this is so much different than the last two months. spending two months at camp hope, outside of new orleans was unreal. everything is devastated there still. nothing's open except da pope's tavern down the street (which is the bar owned by the new orleans saints' mascot) and the family dollar. we built a crap ton of houses and one of our houses was on the today show and jimmy carter and dave matthews band and garth brooks came. barack obama bailed out, that douche.
now we play all day in lake charles, louisiana and i have chlorine in my hair and my life is better than yours.
