Well fuck. Never posted that diary entry! Well, in all honesty, I couldn't find anything intersting enough for all of you. Maybe if I find something good enough, I'll put it up here.

So what happened in the past few days? Well, I went to the UK Rock Hall of Fame induction last week. Got to see my friends inducted. But, like Pete said, it's a fucking tv show! There's no building! Craziness. Got to see Pete do his Pink Floyd dance again. God, when's the last time we did that? Oh yeah. When we were at the UFO, tripping on acid and dancing like drunken ballerinas. That was fun. Don't ask about that bloody purse he had on, even I had no idea! Bragged he had tampons in there...and he did. What in the hell? I'm hoping he was holding them for Rachel! Though I don't think I would ever do that for Mags. He spent the whole ceremony talking about bras with Davy. Again, what in the hell? I have no idea what either of them were on that night. Good to see The Kinks together again. It was good to see Dave up and smiling, considering what happened last year. Just wish that Alanis Morrissette didn't have to do the Dylan tribute, she sounded like absolute shit. God, my brother Chris could have gone up there and sang it and sounded better, and he sings like a sick goose! Davy and Jade had the right idea leaving during that to sneak in some shags in the loo. Smart thinking! Wonder if anyone saw them. All my friends are being honoured, and my band hasn't yet. Who knows, maybe we will in the future? I honestly could care less though. I don't need awards and trophies and accolades to remind me I'm good. I get that from seeing fans at our show, and getting fan mail and all the screams at our shows. Yes, fans! It's you that give me my biggest honours! If that makes sense...

What else. Oh! On Tuesday John threw a party at Quarwood for the hell of it. So it was boys' night out, I went with Pete, and I brought James as well. Davy stayed at home with Jade. Such a devout husband. It was like the old days. Booze, and lots of it. I had to go without, but it was fun seeing Keith streak through the garden while singing Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield. After John dragged him inside, he kept offering himself to everyone. Typical Keith. Then, to my surprise, John brought Jack out! He and Keith did a duet of Wouldn't It Be Nice by the Beach Boys and then Jack grabbed me and waltzed around the bloody bar. Total craziness. And I loved it. Reminds me that I'm a rockstar.

Is it just me, or does Nick Mason look like Eric Idle?

George's daughter Janine is due in less than a month. She's having a girl, and I need to get her a gift. Something good, I'm her godfather. Now what to get her...
