update?
It was a rather long, boring weekend and the week so far has been no different... been staying up late, feeling like shit... bloated? Heartburn, slight nausea, headaches every day for the past week or so...
I'm having a hymenectomy Thursday, so I'll be out the rest of the week, which is SUCH a fun thing to explain to teachers (<-- sarcasm!). My art teacher Barb just wouldn't be satisfied with a simple answer, and I, after going quite pink, had to explain to her that I couldn't even use a tampon... fun times! She kind of reminds me of my mom sometimes, as she's one of those old hippy ladies who is uncomfortably comfortable with sex, and was clearly promiscuous in her day. It's weird to be seeing that from an outsider's perspective sometimes.
The main fun little peice of news here is that I was very unexpectedly asked to "Soph Hop", some kind of semi-formal dance thing. It was totally casual though, so no worries. His name's Payne, seems like a pretty cool guy(admittedly cute) despite his freakin freshman status. Hopefully it won't be too awkward, he seems rather quiet. He did gain major props today though (among classmates as well, from the reactions of those I told) for asking me (a senior) on AFS Spirit Week "retro day", while sporting a Juno-style track outfit, complete with sweatband and short shorts (hahahaa he's shrimpy). He managed to be comparatively nonchalant about it. Beginning of a good rep at AFS, lol. Nothing will come of this of course (I don't want anything to), but at least I'll have something interesting to look forward to for a bit, which is a lot to say considering my circumstances. :)
