My first entry! Woohoo!
Today was a rather boring day. I woke up, listened to music, and finally dragged myself out of bed. For the entire day I tried to force myself to do homework, but to no avail. I didn't feel like cleaning off my desk so just sat on the floor, staring at my social studies textbook. You know when that horrible, suffocating boredom just settles into you, dooming you to total uselessness? That is how I've been. I then wandered down to the computer, looking up a greek myth to illustrate for my PCS project. It was the story of how argus, a guy with a hundred eyes, slayed the monster Echidna. After further research, though, I found out that Echidna was not a small spiny anteater that lays eggs but a nymph-serpent hybrid. There my momentary spark of creativity dwindled. I mean, how groovy would it have been if I could base a project on a guy with a bunch of eyes fighting a giant echidna? Damn. So here I sit, eyes bugging out from staring at the computer screen, writing this passage. I hope you have enjoyed my plight.
